Glenboig Development Trust is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors consisting of people from the local community who bring with them a wide range of skills and experience beneficial to the work of the organisation. Collectively, they have a broad skills base including knowledge of the following sectors; business, finance, management, IT, public sector, local and national politics, construction, and education. Members meet monthly or more frequently as business needs dictate and are supported by NLC Community Learning and Development, NHS Lanarkshire and Business Gateway.
We have a dedicated and committed team of Full-time, Part-time and Sessional staff who work tirelessly to ensure the smooth delivery of our services and activities. GDT currently works with 15 – 20 committed volunteers on a regular basis. Volunteers support the day to day running of our Community Café, Village Post Office, Community Transport Service and other Services and Activities including Children and Young People Services and Senior Care Project for Older People.
